Triumph Motorcycles has just launched their most expensive Tiger 800, the Tiger XCa in India. This top-spec adventure bike has been priced at Rs 15.16 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 1.13 lakhs more expensive than the Tiger 800 XCx.
The Tiger 800 XCA gets top-of-the-line features like 43mm WP inverted forks up front with 220mm of travel and a WP monoshock at the back with 215mm of travel. It also gets twin discs up front with Brembo calipers and a single disc at the rear with a Nissin calliper. Being an off-road model, the bike gets 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres.
The XCA additionally features full LED lights setup. That means the headlamps, indicators, taillight and fog lamps - all are LED. This Tiger is also equipped with a five-inch full-colour TFT display for the instrument console which features a total of six screen styles. It also gets heated grips and seat, aluminium radiator guard and a centre stand apart from the standard features like updated cruise control, traction control and switchable ABS.
The Tiger 800 XCA gets its power from an 800cc in-line cylinder engine that makes around 94bhp and peak torque of 79Nm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox that transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive. In order to cater to a wide range of riding styles, the Tiger XCA is equipped with six riding modes - road, off-road, rain, sport, off-road pro and custom.
The Triumph Tiger 800 XCA competes against the BMW F850GS Pro variant and the Honda Africa Twin.
