British manufacturer, Triumph Motorcycles is expected to launch four products in the Indian market in 2018. While the manufacturer will launch the Tiger 1200 XC in February, the Bonneville Speedmaster and Tiger 800 range will follow later. However, it is unclear what the fourth product will be.
Triumph is looking forward to a 10-15 per cent bump in sales from Tier II cities from the current 7-8 per cent. The manufacturer also expects to show a double digit growth in 2018. As we reported earlier, Triumph expects to end 2017 with a sales of over 1,300 units, a growth of eight per cent over last year.
The manufacturer is targeting to have 20 dealerships by the end of next year with three new dealerships in Gurgaon, Mangalore and Goa by March 2018. Triumph currently assembles 80 per cent of its products which includes the Street Triple, Tiger 800 and Bonneville locally. However, it will increase local assembly by 10 per cent in the next financial year.
