Triumph Motorcycles has just announced its plans to launch six new bikes in India this year. The company decided to make this announcement during the 2018 Auto Expo, even though it’s not participating in this motoring extravaganza this year.
The British maker will launch the Tiger 1200, the Speedmaster, the Tiger 800 range and the recently unveiled Speed Triple. The rest two models are not known yet but it could either be the Black versions of the Bonneville range or maybe there’s an updated Thunderbird LT and the Rocket 3 in the pipeline. In fact, the company might be considering the Speed Triple S as one motorcycle and the Speed Triple RS as another.
Along with six new launches, Triumph will add three more showrooms in the current year to help it garner more sales and market share. Almost 90 per cent of its upcoming motorcycles will be assembled in India to attract competitive pricing.
