- Triumph to sell pre-owned bikes
- Will make their bikes more affordable
- Likely to launch the new business in August
Triumph Motorcycles is gearing up to enter the lucrative used bike business. This new vertical is likely to be launched in August.
The British brand plans to make their bikes more accessible and affordable through this new business. The idea is to bring younger crowd into the brand, as the average age of the Triumph customer is 37.
The pre-owned Triumph bikes will be refurbished by the company and is expected to be offered with extended warranty. The pricing is expected to be much higher than the normal used bike market, due to the premium experience the brand will provide. But we believe, this will definitely find more takers as the prices of these pre-owned bikes will be much lower than the new bikes.
