- Triumph has registered the Adventurer brand
- Could be used on 660cc adventure bike
- Will be sold in India alongside Trident, Tiger Sport
Triumph Motorcycles has registered new brand names for its upcoming motorcycles. One of these names is the ‘Adventurer’, and from the title, it is clear that it could be used on an upcoming adventure bike.
The British brand has most of its ADV lineup sorted except one. The new 660cc platform with bikes like the Trident – a street bike, and the Tiger Sport – a sports tourer, will see one more bike. According to a leaked presentation from a few years ago, this two-wheeler will be an adventure bike positioned below the Tiger 900.
As seen in the leaked presentation, this ADV, which could be called the Adventurer, will retain a lot of styling from its elder sibling. However, the overall body proportions will be much smaller. And things like a 21-inch front wheel with spokes, long travel front suspension, front beak, and a tall windscreen will be seen on this motorcycle.
We expect the British brand to launch this new middleweight ADV sometime next year. Unveiling at the 2023 EICMA is highly possible too. And yes, this motorcycle will be launched in India, and it could change the ADV scenes in the country.
