Triumph Motorcycles India has started the pre-bookings for its upcoming motorcycle, the Trident 660. Interested buyers can reserve a unit of the roadster motorcycle for a token amount of Rs 50,000. The booking amount is 100% refundable until the price announcement of the motorcycle. Additionally, Triumph is also offering a finance scheme with EMIs starting from Rs 9,999.
Speaking on the announcement, Shoeb Farooq, Business Head - Triumph Motorcycles India, said that with the Trident, the company is looking forward to tapping a younger generation of riders in the Triumph family and the special finance scheme is just one-step in making their buying journey easier.
The Trident is expected to be priced below the Triumph Street twin, and will also serve as the entry price point into Triumph Brand.
The new Triumph Trident features a retro design that is complemented by modern features. The motorcycle comes equipped with full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-ready instrument cluster. The Bluetooth module is available as an accessory and it offers access to functions like turn-by-turn navigation, calls, music controls, and GoPro.
The Trident 660 uses a 660cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 79.8bhp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. The motorcycle will come with a 10,000miles/16,000km service interval and a global two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
