-New tri-colour paint
-Commemorates Triumph’s Isle of Man TT victories
-Gets a few accessories as standard
Triumph Motorcycles has taken the wraps off a special edition Trident 660 that pays tribute to its five victories at the Isle of Man TT. The motorcycle gets a dedicated tri-colour paint job, consisting of a base white colour with metallic blue stripes and streaks of red. The colour scheme looks quite attractive and manages to distinguish this bike from the standard Triumph Trident 660.
Besides the dedicated colourway, the bike also gets shift assist, a flyscreen and belly pan as standard which, otherwise, are available as options on the standard Trident 660.
Mechanically, this Trident 660 is identical to the standard bike. The Trident is powered by a 660cc, inline-triple engine that develops 80bhp and 64Nm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Under the bodywork is a tubular steel frame, with a 41mm Showa USD at the front and a preload adjustable Showa monoshock at the rear. Braking is taken care of by twin 310mm discs at the front and a 255mm disc at the back.
The Trident 660’s features list includes, dual-channel ABS, colour TFT display, traction control and two ride modes -Rain and Road.
Prices of the Triumph Trident 660 start at Rs 8.25 lakh. If Triumph launches this special edition Trident 660 in India, expect to pay a slight premium.
