Triumph has launched a special edition Rocket X motorcycle, to commemorate a decade of the Rocket III’s sovereignty as the world’s largest-capacity mass production motorcycle. Limited to just 500 units, the Rocket X has been jazzed up with a unique paint scheme and individually numbered side panels with billeted aluminium name badge.
The Rocket X comes with a high-gloss custom paint scheme with ‘grind’ effect stripes, which has been composed by custom paint specialists, 8-Ball. The exhaust, handlebars, and mirrors have been garnished in black to match the paint work of the motorcycle. Even the five-spoke wheels have been painted in black, with the silver pinstripe particularly making them stand out.
The Rocket X is mechanically identical to the Rocket III and comes with the same 2294cc inline three-cylinder engine which is rated at 221Nm of torque. Like for the rest of its line-up, Triumph will offer the Rocket X with a number of customising options. The Rocket X will be priced at GBP 14,799 (Rs 14.51 lakh) and deliveries in the UK are expected to commence in March, next year.
