Triumph’s upcoming 250cc fully-faired motorcycle has been spied testing by motoradonline. The test mules were not camouflaged and were seen ridden by full geared riders.
The Triumph test mules look somewhat similar to the sketch image that the company had release few weeks ago at the 2013 EICMA event held in Italy. The spied bikes look samples of early stage developments but we can expect this bike to be sold under the Daytona moniker.
Triumph had announced to build a 250cc motorcycle by 2015 that will be manufactured in India and sold globally. The new 250cc bike will be powered by a single cylinder engine that will churn out power close to 25bhp. The British manufacturer quarter litre engine is in line with the changing global sentiments, with more manufacturers looking at developing markets for future expansion.
This 250cc engine is very important for the company as it is expected to power company’s adventure, classics, cruisers, roadsters and super sports range of motorcycles.
