- 2023 Triumph Thruxton RS unveiled
- Gets new colour option
- No mechanical changes
Triumph Motorcycles has updated its entire line-up of motorcycles including its only 1200cc café racer- the Thruxton RS. Now, as part of the 2023 model year update, the Triumph Thruxton RS is adorned with a new colour scheme that the Hinckley-based manufacturer has named- Competition Green with Silver Ice.
The paint scheme combines the iconic British Green colour with Grey that features on the fuel tank and seat cowl. However, what makes the colour option stand out are the golden stripes it comes with that properly complete the look. That said, the rest of the Thruxton RS is done up in black and aluminum finished bits. Along with this colour, Triumph is offering the motorcycle in Jet Black as well.
However, besides the delectable new paint, the 2023 Triumph Thruxton RS remains the same as before in terms of engine, specs and features. It comes powered by a 1,200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that offers 103bhp at 7,500rpm and 112Nm of peak torque at 4,250rpm. The hardware department is top-notch too and comes with Ohlins suspension and top-of-the-line Brembo M50 brakes as standard.
With the motorcycle available overseas, we can expect Triumph to bring the updated 2023 model in India by the end of the year to take on the Kawasaki Z900 RS here.
