With the electric mobility wave growing larger, TVS aims to surf it high The Hosur-based manufacturer has revealed its future plans and here’s what to expect from TVS’ EV segment.
Currently, TVS has three variants of the iQube on sale in India. But it now aims to add a sub-15kWh range in its JV with BMW. Moreover, the TVS is also working on electric two and three-wheelers between 5-25kWh range.
That said, TVS’s subsidiary, Norton Motorcycles, is also working on its electric superbike. It’ll likely cater to the premium EV range in the UK and other markets where the segment fits. Considering its recent acquisition of the Swiss E-Mobility Group, TVS will also put its expertise to application for EV development.
Lastly, TVS has also joined forces with Jio-bp to set up charging infrastructure in India. The two companies will work on a regular AC-charging network and a DC fast-charging network.
