TVS has released a video teasing the Apache RR 310 which will be launched in India on 6 December 2017.
The teaser gives a sneak-peak of the bike in a red paint job with white stripes. It shows the rear section with the shark fin-like LED tail lamp, the frame, engine and the fascia of the bike with the dual LED projector headlamps.
Based on the BMW G 310 R streetfighter, the TVS Apache RR 310 is a fully-faired motorcycle with a slightly upright riding position making it suitable for touring. It uses the same 313cc single-cylinder engine as the BMW and is expected to produce 33.6bhp and 28Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and final chain drive.
The TVS Apache is expected to be priced under Rs 2.3 lakhs and will compete against the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Benelli 302R and the upcoming Yamaha YZF-R3.
