- Rs 5,000 more expensive now
- Pegged at Rs 2.65 lakh
- Remains unchanged in terms of specs
TVS Motor Company revised the prices of most of its offerings in June 2022 in India. Notably, the highest increment has been received by the brand’s flagship product, the Apache RR310. The motorcycle is now Rs 5,000 dearer and costs Rs 2,65,000 (ex-showroom).
The price hike hasn’t brought along any mechanical change to the motorcycle. The Apache RR310 continues to be one of the most value for money motorcycles available in India, especially considering the features and components it is bestowed with. One of the main highlights is the availability of a fully-adjustable suspension setup for the bike, a facility that’s usually offered with higher-end motorcycles.
While the motorcycle looks stunning in its base form, it can be made visually snazzier by donning it with the optional race livery that costs Rs 4,500. Also, the bike is generously equipped with modern features like a Bluetooth-enabled full-colour TFT instrument cluster, full-LED lighting, and four riding modes including Urban, Rain, Sport, and Track.
The Apache RR310 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by upside-down forks and a monoshock, while braking is handled by a single disc at both ends. Propelling the supersport is a 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 34bhp and 27.3Nm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
The competition for the TVS Apache RR310 has recently gotten tougher with the introduction of the 2022 KTM RC 390 which has received truckloads of updates. However, the Austrian machine is substantially more expensive at Rs 3.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
