TVS has increased the prices of the Apache RTR 160 4V and the Apache RTR 200 4V once again in India. Since the start of 2021, this is the third price hike that these bikes have received. The previous ones were witnessed in the month of January and April. In spite of that, the recent increment is substantial; Rs 3,000 for the RTR 160 4V and Rs 3,750 in the case of the RTR 200 4V.
The latest variant-wise ex-showroom (Delhi) prices of both bikes are mentioned below:
Drum brake: Rs 1,11,565
Disc brake: Rs 1,14,615
Single-channel ABS: Rs 1,33,065
Dual-channel ABS: Rs 1,38,115
Despite the price hike, the Apache RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V continue to deliver great value for money considering the overall package they offer. For instance, the latest update in the Apache 200 introduced three riding modes, adjustable Showa front suspension, and adjustable clutch and brake levers. These are the features that we had never seen before in this segment.
Even the RTR 160 4V received a substantial hike in its power output in March this year. Its 160cc, four-valve engine now produces 17.4bhp and 14.73Nm as against the previous output of 15.6bhp and 14.12Nm. Furthermore, TVS also managed to shave two kilos off its overall kerb weight and now weighs 145kg.
