What are the specifications, and how much is the fuel economy of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V?
The Apache RTR 160 4V returned an overall fuel economy of 41.4kmpl in our internal test. This fuel economy, along with the tank capacity of 12 litres, gives the Apache RTR 160 4V a range of almost 500km. The motorcycle uses a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, oil/air-cooled layout that produces a maximum output of 17.4bhp and a peak torque of 14.73Nm. Do note that the Apache RTR 160 4V is the only motorcycle in its segment that comes with multiple ride modes – Urban, Rain, and Sport. The Urban and Rain modes offer 15.4bhp of output, while the Sport mode delivers the full 17.3bhp.

The base model uses a drum brake at the rear, while the dual-disc variant benefits from disc brakes on both wheels. The connected and Special Edition variants also get a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. The latter further benefits from adjustable levers and a different design for the exhaust. The standard versions are available in three colours – Racing Red, Metallic Blue, and Knight Black. Meanwhile, the Special Edition model is listed in two paint themes – Pearl White and Matte Black. All variants feature a single-pod headlight with an integrated DRL, a muscular design for the fuel tank, a step-up seat, an engine cowl, and a side-slung exhaust.
