TVS Motor Company has bumped up the pricing of a few of its motorcycles in India including the Apache RTR 160 4V. The Rs 700 hike affects all four variants it is offered in.
The most affordable of the lot is the Drum brake version that costs Rs 1,23,770 now. The Disc version of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V will set you back by Rs 1,27,270 while the Bluetooth variant costs Rs 3,000 more at Rs 1,30,570. That said, the Special Edition is priced at Rs 1,32,070 (all-prices ex-showroom).
There are no changes to the motorcycle apart from the pricing. It comes powered by a 159.7cc, oil-cooled, four-valve engine that is capable of churning out 17.40bhp and 14.73Nm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
As for features, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V gets a full-LED headlamp, three riding modes and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. The motorcycle competes against the Bajaj Pulsar N160, Hero Xtreme 160R, Yamaha FZ-S, Honda Hornet 160R and Suzuki Gixxer as well.
