- TVS Apache RTR 160 4V now priced from Rs 1.08 lakh
- Price increased by Rs 1,250
- Second price hike in a month
TVS Motor Company has hiked the price of the Apache RTR 160 4V in India.
The Apache RTR 160 4V is available in two variants- Drum and Disc, both of which have received a hike of Rs 1,250. Now, the variants are priced at Rs 1,08,565 and Rs 1,11,615 each. This is the Apache RTR 160 4V’s second hike since mid-April wherein the prices were increased by a marginal Rs 45 for both versions.
Nevertheless, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V remains unchanged. And given its spec sheet and list of features, we aren’t complaining. The motorcycle comes powered by a 160cc engine that was recently tuned to produce more power and torque. While the new model churns out 17.4bhp, the older offered 15.6bhp. Even the torque has increased from 14.12Nm to 14.73Nm. TVS has also managed to bring down the weight by 2 kg to 145kg.
With the price increase, the Apache RTR 160 4V is only slightly more expensive than its biggest rival- the Hero Xtreme 160R. Apart from the Hero, the Apache also competes with the Honda X-Blade in the country.
