TVS has finally launched the ABS version of its 200cc naked motorcycle, the Apache RTR 200 4V. The company has priced this variant at Rs 1.07 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The ABS variant is available with carbureted version only. This has been done because equipping ABS with the fuel-injected model would increase the overall cost. However, buyers will have the option of buying the ABS variant either with TVS Remora or Pirelli Angel GT tyres. The dual-channel ABS system also comes with the rear wheel lift-off protection control.
The bookings for this variant have already begun. However, the timelines for delivery isn’t known yet. The ABS version of the Apache RTR 200 4V was announced almost two years ago. However, it never made it to the market then. With this new safety equipment, the Apache RTR 200 4V is the only motorcycle in the segment that sport dual-channel ABS. Its direct rival, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 gets single-channel unit.
