- Priced at Rs 1,28,550
- Previous price hike happened in May 2020
- No cosmetic or mechanical changes to the motorcycle
TVS Motor Company has revised the price of the Apache RTR 200 4V. The naked-roadster model from the Hosur-based two-wheeler brand is now available at Rs 1,28,550 instead of Rs 1,27,500 previously. Do note that the motorcycle had received a Rs 2,500 price hike in May 2020.
The Apache RTR 200 4V had received a BS6 upgrade in November last year. The BS6 transition brought cosmetic and mechanical changes to the naked roadster. The motorcycle packs premium features such as LED headlight and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster as standard. The instrument cluster links to a smartphone app via Bluetooth and displays a host of information.
Mechanical specifications include a 197.95cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 19.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.8Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The hardware specifications include telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, petal-type disc brakes on both wheels and a dual-channel ABS.
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V competes against the links of Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Hero Xtreme 200R. The 200cc Hero roadster, however, is yet to receive a BS6 upgrade.
