- Available in three colours
- Retains all the features from dual-channel ABS model
- Priced at Rs 1.28 lakh
TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the single-channel ABS variant of the Apache RTR 200 V4 with riding modes. The single-channel ABS model has been priced at Rs 1.28 lakh. In comparison, the dual-channel variant is available at Rs 1.33 lakh.
The changes are limited to the alterations done to the ABS tech. The rest of the specifications and design remain similar to the dual-channel ABS model. Thus, the single-channel ABS variant continues to pack features such as three riding modes (Sport, Urban, and Rain), Glide Through Technology, Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, and an LED headlight. The motorcycle will be available in three colours – Gloss Black, Pearl White, and Matte Blue.
The mechanical specifications retain the 197.75cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine with Race Tuned Fuel injection system. The Urban and Rain modes are tuned to deliver 17.08bhp at 7,800rpm and 16.51Nm at 5,750rpm. The Sport mode gives access to full 20.54bhp at 9,000rpm and 17.25Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed transmission that benefits from a Race Tuned Slipper Clutch system.
The hardware, similar to the dual-channel model, include preload-adjustable Showa front forks, a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, adjustable levers, and petal-type disc brakes on both wheels.
