Earlier this month, TVS launched the Apache RTR 200 Fi4V in the Indian market, over 18 months after it was first unveiled. Priced at Rs 1.07 lakhs, the Apache RTR 200 Fi4V competes against the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. Here is a photo gallery of the TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi4V –
The Apache RTR 200 Fi4V features the same muscular styling as the carburetted variant, with the addition of a new visor at the front.
It gets a 198cc four-valve oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, with fuelling being taken care of by a Bosch closed-loop fuel-injection system.
The power output is slightly higher, at 20.7bhp and 18.1Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission.
The Apache RTR 200 Fi4V rides on telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, both sourced from Kayaba.
Brake setup consists of a 270mm petal disc brake at the front and a 240mm petal disc at the rear. ABS is still missing from the features list.
While the stock Apache RTR 200 Fi4V rides on TVS Remora tyres, the company is also offering stickier Pirelli tyres as an optional extra.
The Apache RTR 200 Fi4V is offered in two paint schemes – gloss white and matte yellow, of which the latter is exclusive to this variant.
