- New RTR 310 bookings begin
- Launch on 6 September
- Will get aggressive styling
TVS has been releasing videos of its soon-to-be-launched Apache RTR 310. In the last video, it has announced that the bike bookings have commenced.
The bookings are expected to commence at all TVS showrooms, but the brand hasn't revealed the booking cost. In most cases, the booking price should be between Rs 5,000 and 10,000 for this bike class and fully refundable.
The upcoming TVS Apache RTR 310 is likely to come with aggressive styling. From the teaser pictures and video, it is clear that it will sport a new split LED headlight with a chiselled fuel tank and is likely to be relatively compact in dimensions, too. Moreover, the pillion seat is relatively small, which may be uncomfortable. While the teaser shows the bike with a small end canister exhaust, the final model would feature the same exhaust as the current RR 310s.
TVS will use a 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that dishes out 33.5bhp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm at 7,700rpm for the new RTR 310. This is the same motor that the RR 310 is equipped with. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox. Then, the rider triangle seems engaging as the footpegs are rear set, but the rider is seated upright. Like its faired sibling, the Apache RTR 310 will also have features. From LED illumination to a fully digital console and smartphone connectivity, the new TVS naked motorcycle will likely come equipped with all the bells and whistles.
The new TVS Apache RTR 310 will launch on 6 September and go against the KTM 390 Duke and the BMW G310R. The expected price for this bike is likely to be around Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom)
