- Available in three different kits
- Offers new mechanicals, features and paint schemes
- Demand a premium over the base price
TVS recently launched the Apache RTR 310 in India as its latest naked motorcycle offering. It’s based on the Apache RR 310 but comes with a bunch of more features, more power, and a radically new styling, too. Similar to the faired Apache, TVS is offering the RTR 310, too, with kits. But this one gets three instead of two – Dynamic Kit, Dynamic Pro Kit, and Color Kit. Here’s a breakdown of all three.
Dynamic Kit
This one is priced at Rs. 18,000 and comes with fully adjustable front forks (rebound, compression, and preload), preload and rebound adjustable monoshock, tyre pressure monitoring system, and a brass-coated chain as well. That said, it comes standard with the bi-directional quickshifter and all the other features that you get with the base model – five-inch colour TFT, traction control, dual-channel ABS, cruise control, slipper clutch, and GTT (Glide Through Tech).
Dynamic Pro Kit
To bump up the package further, TVS has also offered the Dynamic Pro Kit, which includes even more goodies. It’ll set you back by Rs. 22,000 and includes a six-axis IMU-based stability control, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, wheelie control, rear wheel lift control, and slope-dependent brake control. Then there’s also the climate-controlled seat along with the remaining bits that are standard on the base model.
Color Kit
This is the third and only cosmetic kit for the TVS Apache RTR 310. Unlike the above-mentioned kits, the Color Kit adheres solely to offering an additional paint scheme of Sepang Blue, which is similar to TVS’ race bike livery. Apart from that, it only gets all the features from the base model and a quickshifter. The Colour Kit will cost you Rs. 10,000.
Powering the TVS Apache RTR 310 is a 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with the output rated at 35.08bhp and 28.7Nm. It’s linked to a six-speed gearbox. TVS has priced the Apache RTR 310 at Rs. 2.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) onwards.
