The prices of the new matte red paint scheme for the TVS Apache RTR have been revealed. The standard Apache RTR 160 has been priced at Rs 77,865, and the rear disc brake variant costs Rs 80,194, while the Apache RTR 180 retails at 81,833 (all prices ex-showroom).
These new variants are pricier than the standard colour variants by Rs 1,000. The headlamp cowl, fuel tank, engine cowl, fender, and the tail panels are painted in matte red. The frame, engine, exhaust and the wheels on the other hand, are painted in black to contrast with the bodywork. The decals on the fuel tank, fender and the tail section give the bikes a racy appeal. The Apache RTR 160 wheels get matte red rim tapes while the RTR 180 wheels get white rim tapes.
The Apache RTR 160 is powered by a 159cc single-cylinder engine delivering 15bhp and 13Nm of torque. The Apache RTR 180 on the other hand, is powered by a 177cc engine delivering 17.3bhp and 15.5Nm of torque. Both the motorcycles get a five-speed gearbox. The new paint scheme has been introduced to capitalise on the increase in demand for motorcycles during the festive season.
