TVS has just concluded its first season of the ARE GP at the Madras International Circuit (MIC). The entire season witnessed over 1000 customers getting to experience the race track with the top 48 riders from 20 cities across India making it to the finale.
The championship races were held in four categories of the Apache range – 160cc, 180cc, 200cc, and 310cc. Moreover, the top 48 riders also got a chance to ride TVS’ OMC (One Make Championship) bikes at the Madras International Circuit.
The winners have received an all-expense paid trip to Sepang for the Moto GP, a TVS Motor Factory visit, and a place at the TVS India OMC. Moreover, the brand also arranged FIM-certified helmets, race suits, and overall riding gear required for racing at the MIC. The riders underwent a race training program led by the brand’s top racers and national champions.
We raced in the media category and not only experienced the thrill of it but also witnessed the safety levels that TVS has been trying to achieve and imbibe. Fair to say, that the Indian motorsports scenario is gradually receiving the push it needed for a long time.
