TVS Motor Company has expanded its dealership reach in Iraq by inaugurating a new dealership in Baghdad in association with its distribution partner, Ritaj International General Trade LLC. Sprawled across 840 square meter, it’s a first-of-its-kind outlet in the region comprising sales, service and spare parts retail of TVS-branded two-wheelers as well as three-wheelers.
TVS had entered Iraq in 2016 and kept on widening its presence in the country. Now, with the new showroom set up, the Hosur-based bike maker has a total of 41 outlets in Iraq. Besides opening a new showroom, it has also launched two new offerings including TVS StaR HLX 150 and the TVS King Deluxe Plus three-wheeler. Other TVS products that already exist in Iraq include XL 100, HLX 150, Max 125, Jupiter, Wego, Scooty Pep Plus, and the Ntorq 125.
In the last month, TVS had also announced that the Ntorq 125 crossed the one-lakh unit sales milestone in the international markets. Apart from being an extremely popular product in India, it has been garnering decent sales in 19 other countries across South Asia, Latin America, Middle East, and ASEAN.
