- TVS trademarks Fiero 125 name
- Likely to be a feature-rich, performance-oriented bike
- Could take on the Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Honda SP 125
TVS Motor Company is likely to launch a new 125cc motorcycle in the future, as hinted by a new trademark document we have recently got our hands on. The company filed a trademark for the name ‘Fiero 125’ this month, which is perhaps what its future 125cc offering will be called.
At present, the 125cc motorcycle segment comprises of offerings like the Bajaj Pulsar 125, Honda Shine, Honda SP 125 and the Hero Glamour. All these products fetch a decent amount of sales every month. Although TVS doesn’t have a contender in this territory as of now, it might want to grab a chunk of this lucrative pie in the coming days.
As most of you may recollect, TVS had a motorcycle named the Fiero in the past which was known for its smooth and potent 150cc engine. The company could retain this same character in its future 125cc Fiero. Also, considering TVS’ tradition of bestowing its products with impressive features, the new Fiero might follow suit with things like LED lighting and Bluetooth display.
Besides the name of the motorcycle, any further details about the motorcycle aren't available as of now. However, we expect to hear something about it in the near future or maybe get hold of some spy shots.
