- TVS sells over 1.5 lakh iQube - Second highest-selling EV in the country - ST variant launch has been delayed TVS is one of the few big OEMs that have managed to crack the EV segment in India. It launched the iQube a few years ago, and since then, it has worked to sell over 1.5 lakh in the country. The iQube is known for its no-nonsense design and performance approach. The overall styling appeals to the majority of the masses, and as a result of this, this e-scooter is considered by all age groups. Its sales and service access make it relatively easy for Indian consumers to decide on their EV transition. When it comes to the performance of the iQube, this scooter churns out decent riding range, top speed and charging time. The Hosur-based company didn't want to go all in when it comes to performance, and due to that, the motor and the battery sizes are enough for everyday city use. Currently, TVS offers the iQube in two variants. There's also a third ST variant, which has a bigger battery and more features. But the launch of this model has been delayed as the EV subsidy has been reduced considerably, and it no longer makes sense to launch the most expensive variant of the iQube.
