- All variants get dearer by Rs 1,461
- XT trim is prices remain unaffected
- No mechanical changes
TVS Motor Company has increased the prices of all variants (except for the new XT) of its 125cc sporty scooter, the Ntorq 125, in India this month. Fortunately, the price hike is marginal at Rs 1,461 and the detailed variant-wise ex-showroom prices of the Ntorq 125 are mentioned below:
Drum brake: Rs 77,106
Disc brake: Rs 81,561
Race Edition: Rs 85,161
Super Squad Edition: Rs 87,661
Race XP: Rs 89,211
The Ntorq 125 is also available in a higher-spec XT variant that was launched recently and has been priced at Rs 1,02,823. That makes it about Rs 13,000 more expensive than the Race XP edition. Now, for that premium, you get some additional features like a split-type instrument cluster with colour TFT display, updated SmartXonnect system featuring new SmartXtalk and SmartXtracks, and IntelliGO start-stop technology.
All variants of the Ntorq 125 are powered by a 124.8cc, air-cooled engine that churns out 9.25bhp of power and 10.5Nm of peak torque. Interestingly, the Race XP edition of the Ntorq makes more power at 10bhp in Sport mode while the Urban mode dials it down marginally. As for the cycle parts, it rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with telescopic forks and a monoshock. The overall kerb weight stands at 118kg and the fuel tank capacity is 5.8-litre.
