TVS has launched a new service programme called Expert on Wheels. The company plans to provide servicing at the customers’ doorstep.
According to the company, this service will be available through 300 dealerships across the country. The TVS customers can use this service for maintaining their bikes or scooters. Once the appointment is booked, which we think will happen over a phone call, the service technician will come the customer’s house and service the two-wheelers. The technician will follow thorough santisation protocol and will also wear PPE suit to ensure minimum contact with the customers.
This is a good step taken by the Hosur-based company. However, the company hasn’t mentioned the cities where this service will be available. Also, the customers is likely to pay addition service charge to use this facility as it’s an additional expense for the dealer.
