The TVS iQube Celebration Edition has been launched in India at Rs 1.20 lakh, ex-showroom. This is for the 3.4kWh variant of the iQube. The Celebration Edition is also available in the S variant and that will set you back by Rs 1.29 lakh, ex-showroom.
The TVS iQube Celebration Edition has been launched to commemorate the 78th Independence Day of India. Only 1,000 units each of the 3.4kWh variant and the S variant will be available. What’s notable is that the prices are the same as the regular iQube scooter.
The Celebration Edition gets a special, orange and black dual-tone colour. The front apron, mirrors, top part of the side panel, pillion grab rail and the part of the tail section is painted in orange while the rest of the scooter is jet black. The colour looks striking and helps distinguish this special edition from the other iQube scooters that have a monotone colour. A special ‘Celebration Edition’ badge on these scooters also adds to their exclusivity
Mechanically, there are no changes. Whether it is the battery, motor capacity, the chassis, suspension or brakes; they are all the same.
Bookings for the TVS iQube Celebration Edition will commence on 15 August and deliveries will begin from 26 August. The company says that allotments will be made on first come, first serve basis.
