- Deliveries will commence in August 2022
- iQube ST can be reserved at Rs 999
- Price is likely to be announced closer to the launch
TVS recently introduced three new variants of the iQube electric scooter – Standard, S, and ST. Although the company has announced the prices and delivery schedule of the Standard and S models, the ST version can only be reserved as of now for an amount of Rs 999. That said, according to the company’s website, deliveries for the TVS iQube ST will commence from August 2022.
As far as pricing is concerned, our sources tell us that the company will announce the prices closer to its launch. So, we can expect the official price to be out sometime towards the end of July or in early August. For reference, the iQube Standard and the iQube S cost Rs 99,130 and Rs 1.09 lakh (on-road Delhi), respectively, after factoring in the FAME-II subsidies. Considering the feature additions and the bigger battery pack, we expect TVS to price the ST variant around Rs 1.25-1.30 lakh (on-road Delhi).
Coming to its specs, the iQube ST promises a range of 145km in normal mode and 110km in power mode, via its 4.56kWh battery pack. The electric motor has a rated power of 4bhp and 33Nm, which is enough to take the scooter to a top speed of 82kmph. Charging options include a 950W charger, which takes four hours and six minutes to charge, while a 1,500W charger can charge the scooter in two hours and 30 minutes.
As for the features, the TVS iQube ST will come packed with a seven-inch touchscreen instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and onboard telematics. There’s LED lighting all around, while the ST variant will also get features like TPMS, keyless ignition, and cruise control.
