- TVS Jupiter 110 prices hiked by Rs 600
- Remains unchanged mechanically
TVS Motor Company has marginally increased the prices of its 110cc family scooter, the Jupiter 110, in India. All the variants of the scooter have become around Rs 600 more expensive now. Notably, the hike hasn’t brought along any changes to the scooter and the Jupiter 110 remains mechanically unchanged. The new variant-wise ex-showroom prices of the scooter are as follows:
Sheet metal wheel: Rs 66,273
Standard: Rs 69,298
ZX (drum brake): Rs 72,773
ZX (disc brake): Rs 76,573
Classic: Rs 76,543
The TVS Jupiter 110 mainly competes against the Honda Activa 6G in India. It’s focused on delivering a practical and convenient ownership experience with elements like an external fuel filler cap, large footboard, retractable hooks, and a 21-litre under seat storage space. Select variants also get a front utility box along with a USB charger.
Powering the scooter is a 109.7cc, air-cooled engine that comes mated to a CVT transmission system. It produces 7.37bhp of power and 8.4Nm of peak torque. It rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends that are suspended by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a drum at both ends with a front disc available as an option. Lastly, the TVS Jupiter 110 is available in as many as 13 different colour options.
