TVS has launched a special edition variant of the Jupiter, called Jupiter Classic. Priced at Rs 55,266, the Jupiter Classic gets a slew of cosmetic upgrades to set it apart from the standard model.
The visual updates on the TVS Jupiter Classic are aimed at giving it a retro look. The classic touches include round mirrors, windshield, dual-tone seat, pillion backrest and new graphics for the instrument cluster. The mirrors, bar-ends and pillion back rest bracket get chrome treatment to up the bling factor. At the heart of the Jupiter Classic is the 109cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 7.8bhp and 8Nm of torque. A front disc brake and USB charger are offered as standard.
The Jupiter Classic in only available in a unique gold paint scheme. The Jupiter Classic is pricier by Rs 900 than the regular disc brake version of the Jupiter. It competes against the Honda Activa 4G, Hero Maestro Edge and the Yamaha Fascino.
