TVS recently launched a new special edition scooter, called Jupiter Classic. Priced at Rs 55,266 (ex-showroom), the Jupiter Classic gets a retro vibe which makes it a direct rival to the Yamaha Fascino. Here is photo gallery of the new TVS Jupiter Classic -
The Jupiter Classic’s front fascia gets a windscreen and round mirrors. For the rider’s comfort, the Jupiter Classic is equipped with a soft seat cover and pillion back rest.
It also gets a healthy dose of chrome for bar-ends, exhaust shield and pillion grab handle to up the bling factor. The seat cover is dual-toned to complement the bodywork.
Although the instrument console layout is identical to the standard Jupiter, the Jupiter Classic’s cluster does get a retro colour scheme.
The Jupiter Classic also gets a USB charger, located under the seat, as standard. The charging is enabled only when the ignition is turned on.
At the heart of the Jupiter Classic is the same 109cc single-cylinder engine, which delivers 7.8bhp and 8Nm of torque through a CVT transmission.
The Jupiter Classic rides on 12-inch wheels, shod with tubeless 90/90 profile TVS tyres. It gets 30mm telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.
It gets a 220mm front disc brake as standard, and a 130mm rear drum brake. TVS’ proprietary sync brake system isn’t available on the Jupiter Classic.
The Jupiter Classic is available in a unique gold paint scheme. As a part of festive season offers, select TVS dealers are offering the chrome guard as standard.
