TVS Motor Company has introduced two new colours for the Jupiter, taking its total colour options to six. Sparking silver and matte beige are the new colours that will be seen on this 110cc scooter.
Launched about a year ago in the Indian market, the Jupiter is one of the most successful models from TVS. It is successful because it offers more features and value than the other scooters in the segment. Things like the pass switch – the first in the Indian scooter segment, make this scooter value for money.
The Jupiter is powered by an 110cc single cylinder air-cooled engine that churns out 8bhp at 7500rpm and 8Nm at 5500rpm. The scooter gets a V-Matic transmission and features an Econometer which guides riders in both ‘Eco Mode’ and ‘Power Mode’. The Jupiter gets telescopic suspension in the front and gas filled suspension at the rear, low fuel indicator and LED tail light. Other colour options available for the Jupiter are pristine white, midnight black, titanium grey and volcano red.
