TVS has launched the Jupiter Grande edition in India with the drum brake variant priced at Rs 55,936. The scooter is also available with a front disc brake and costs Rs 59,648 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Jupiter Grande sports a full-LED headlamp with LED DRL. It also gets an analogue speedometer with an LCD unit which displays fuel level, trip meter and clock. To further differentiate itself from the other variants, the Jupiter Grande offers a brown seat with a cross-stitched pattern.
The scooter is available in a blue paint scheme with a beige-coloured floorboard, front apron and handlebar. It also gets chrome highlights on the front fender, mirrors, exhaust shield and alloys that add to its premium appeal. The Jupiter Grande continues to be powered by a 109cc engine that produces 8bhp and 8Nm of torque.
Bookings for the Jupiter Grande have commenced with deliveries expected in a couple of weeks. The scooter faces competition from the Honda Activa 5G which is priced at Rs 55,730 (ex-showroom,Delhi).
