The TVS Jupiter has received a lot of appreciation when launched and it translated into great sales figures for the company. Now, a MillionR edition of the TVS Jupiter has been recently launched at Rs 55,806 (ex-showroom Mumbai). This disc brake equipped scooter comes in a single colour option with some extras. It is priced around Rs 4000 more than the standard TVS Jupiter, making the Jupiter all the more desirable.
The scooter which shares its name with a planet seems to have been experiencing some sales in the market and probably to put it back on orbit, TVS has released this special edition.
Coming to the specs, the disc brake up front is 220mm and will provide ample more stopping power. Comparatively, the standard Jupiter features a 130mm drum unit. The special edition model comes in a shade of purple reserved for it, the TVS also has chrome garnishing on its side panels for the added ‘bling’ factor. Other changes include the dual tone seat and the MillionR special edition sticker.
Mechanically, it will be powered by the same 110cc single cylinder air-cooled engine that churns out 8bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8Nm at 5,500rpm. The scooter gets a V-Matic transmission and features an econometer which guides riders in both the eco mode and power mode. The Jupiter gets telescopic suspension in the front and gas-filled suspension at the rear. In terms of features, it gets a low fuel indicator, LED tail light, mobile charger and retractable bag hooks.
Currently, there is no waiting period on this scooter and will be available within weeks of booking.
