TVS Motor Company has recently increased the prices of all of its offerings in India. This also includes its highly popular 110cc scooter, the Jupiter. It is available in five variants and each one of them have received different hikes. While the least increment of Rs 736 has been received by the standard variant, the highest bump of Rs 2,336 has been witnessed in the case of the ZX trim.
The latest variant-wise ex-showroom (Delhi) prices of the TVS Jupiter are mentioned below:
Sheet metal wheel: Rs 65,673
Standard: Rs 67,398
ZX drum: Rs 71,973
ZX disc: Rs 75,773
Classic: Rs 75,743
The ruggedness and everyday useability of the Jupiter has made it one of the highest-selling scooters in India. It competes against the Honda Activa 6G that’s invincible in terms of sales. However, the Jupiter offers more features like a front utility box and a mobile charger. It also gets an LED headlamp, a semi-digital console (in select variants), an external fuel filler cap, and a 21-litre under seat storage space.
The TVS Jupiter is powered by a 109.7cc, air-cooled engine that produces 7.37bhp of power and 8.4Nm of peak torque. It rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. The braking setup comes in options of a disc-drum combo and drums at both ends. With a 6-litre fuel tank, the Jupiter weighs 107kg.
