TVS Motor Company has updated the Jupiter range with the new ZX Disc variant. Here we tell you what’s new about the scooter.
Pricing
The Jupiter ZX Disc variant is pegged at Rs 69,052 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This pricing puts it at a premium of around Rs 4,000 above the ZX Drum variant and slightly lower than the top-spec Classic variant.
Gets a front disc brake
While the most obvious addition to the Jupiter ZX Disc is the disc brake at the front, it is interesting to know that it is the only variant in the line-up to get the feature. The rest of the cycle parts remain the same as the other models.
New technology and feature
TVS has equipped the Jupiter ZX Disc with an ‘i-Touchstart Technology’ which is essentially a silent starter motor that adds to the refinement of the scooter. Apart from this new tech, the scooter the new Jupiter ZX model also comes equipped with a four-in-one lock that includes the ignition, seat lock, steering lock, and fuel tank cap opener.
Colour options
The variant is available in a choice of three colour options- Matte Starlight Blue, Starlight Blue, and Royal Wine.
No changes to the engine
Powering the Jupiter ZX Disc is the same 109.7cc, air-cooled engine which churns out 7.3bhp at 7,000rpm and 8.4Nm at 5,500rpm.
