TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the new Jupiter ZX. This new variant packs newer features over the previous versions and here we list the top five highlights of the scooter.
New Features
The new Jupiter ZX variant benefits from the company’s SmartXonnect Bluetooth module and voice assist feature. The Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster shows information about call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. The voice assist feature can be used to give commands via Bluetooth headphones/helmets. Other features include an LED headlamp, a two-litre glovebox with a mobile charger, a 21-litre under-seat storage, and a disc brake at the front.
Styling Upgrade
The design remains similar to the existing versions. However, the ZX version gets Silver Oak coloured inner panels that distinguishes it from the rest of the variants. The colour palette has been revised too, and the Jupiter ZX is available in Copper Bronze and Matte Black paint options. Finally, the rear gets a pillion backrest that has been added to enhance passenger comfort.
Same Engine
The mechanical specifications remain unaltered and the new TVS Jupiter ZX retains the 110cc, single-cylinder engine that delivers 7.7bhp of power and 8.8Nm of peak torque.
Unaltered Hardware
The hardware on the new Jupiter ZX remains similar to the rest of the variants. Thus, the suspension tasks are handled by telescopic front forks and a single spring at the back. The braking setup on the ZX version comprises a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the back while the safety net includes a combined braking system.
Price
The new TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect is priced at Rs 80,973 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it nearly Rs 10,750 more expensive than the base model.
