To celebrate its three million sales milestone, TVS has launched the 2019 version of the Apache RTR 180. It gets refreshed and racier graphics while the available colours are pearl white, gloss black, T grey, matte blue and matte red. The Apache RTR 180 standard is priced at Rs 84,578 and the ABS-equipped trim comes for Rs 95,392 (both prices ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The 2019 Apache RTR 180 also features a new instrument cluster with white back light, seat finished with Alcantara-like material, forged handlebar end weights and a new crash guard with frame sliders. The motorcycle is powered by a 177cc, air-cooled engine that produces 17.3bhp at 8,500rpm and 15.5Nm at 6,500rpm.
The Apache RTR 180 rides on 17-inch front and rear alloy wheels which are suspended on telescopic forks on the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is taken care of by a 270mm front disc and a 200mm rear disc while dual-channel ABS is optional.
The bike locks horns with the Honda CB Hornet 160R, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Suzuki Gixxer, Hero Xtreme 200R and the Yamaha FZ S V 2.0.
