After launching in Madhya Pradesh a couple of weeks ago, TVS Motor Company has launched the new four stroke XL 100 in Maharashtra at Rs 28,843 (ex-showroom Maharashtra).
Positioned as the most affordable two-wheeler, the XL 100 is mainly used by commercial establishments. In order to do this, the new XL 100 comes with a seat which is broader and more comfortable. It also has a detachable rear seat with a robust rear flatbed platform to enable carrying of loads. The front platform of the all-new TVS XL 100 is wider and longer so as to enable more space.
The new TVS XL 100 is powered by a 99.7cc four stroke engine that produces 4bhp and has a top speed of 60kmph. The company claims an ARAI fuel efficiency of 67kmpl. The XL 100 is available in five colours - black, red, green, blue and grey.
