TVS has launched a new special edition StaR City+ priced at Rs 50,534 (ex-showroom). Featuring a new dual-tone paint scheme, the special edition bike is Rs 1,000 pricier than the standard variant.
The special edition StaR City+ has been launched to capitalise on the rise in sales during the festive season. It features a red and black dual-tone paint scheme with silver decals on the fuel tank and side panels. The grab rail has also been painted in black. It gets an electric starter as standard. With the introduction of this new special edition, the StaR City+ is now available in 11 paint schemes.
Under the skin, the special edition model is identical to the standard StaR City+. It is powered by a 109cc single-cylinder engine which delivers 8bhp and 9Nm of torque through a four-speed gearbox. The instrument cluster features an analogue speedometer and a digital display. The StaR City+ competes against the other 110cc commuter motorcycles like the Hero Splendor iSmart, Honda Dream Neo and the Yamaha Saluto RX.
