TVS Motor Company has launched new variants of the Apache RTR 160 and the Phoenix. Both the variants include cosmetic make overs and will play an important role for the company to cash in sales this festive season.
The new variant of the TVS Apache RTR 160 is being offered in five single tone colours – white, black, yellow, red and titanium grey and gets body graphics. The 125cc Phoenix gets an Alpine White colour scheme with body graphics.
Mechanically, both the motorcycles remain unchanged. TVS Apache RTR 160 is powered by 160cc single cylinder engine that churns out 15.2bhp of power and 13.1Nm. The Phoenix is powered by 125cc engine that develops 11PS of power and 10.8Nm.
Launching new variants just before the festive season is something all Indian two-wheeler manufacturers go for. It helps both, the buyers as well as the manufacturers. The buyers get varied option to choose from whereas for the manufacturers, due to positive buying sentiment.
