TVS has launched the updated version of the Apache RTR 160 and the Apache RTR 180. The Apache RTR 160 is priced at Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) whereas the Apache RTR 180 costs Rs 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
These new bikes get revised aesthetics and look more modern and cooler. Both bikes get a new LED headlamp along with a taillight setup. The turn indicators continue to get bulbs. In terms of features, the Apache RTR 160 and the Apache RTR 180 get an updated instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth connectivity. The bikes also get three riding modes – urban, rain and sport.
The Apache RTR 160 is powered by the same 160cc single-cylinder two-valve air-cooled engine that produces 15bhp at 8400rpm and peak torque of 13.9Nm at 7000rpm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The Apache RTR 180 on the other hand gets its power from a 180cc single-cylinder two-valve air-cooled motor which makes 17bhp at 8500rpm and peak torque of 15.5Nm at 7000rpm. This motor too is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The RTR 160 is available in five colours – blue, red, black, grey and white whereas the RTR 180 gets only two colours – black and blue. As of now, the RTR 160 is available in three variants – drum, disc and Bluetooth variant. The drum variant is priced at Rs 1.18 lakh, the disc is at Rs 1.22 lakh and the most expensive variant is the one with a Bluetooth system at 1.31 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
