- Updated TVS Raider 125 launching on 19 October
- Will get Bluetooth connectivity
- Launch event to be hosted on the metaverse
TVS Motor Company is all set to introduce the updated iteration of its commuter offering, the Raider 125, on 19 October. Specifically targeted at the younger audience, this will be an unconventional launch on metaverse through the brand’s proprietary platform called TVS Motoverse.
TVS has been releasing teaser videos of the updated motorcycle which suggest that it will receive Bluetooth connectivity for its digital console. The motorcycle will certainly receive TVS’ proprietary system, SmartXonnect which facilitates call and message notifications on the display. Notably, this will be the first 125cc motorcycle to get Bluetooth connectivity.
TVS might also bring in some visual updates for the Raider 125 like a fresh set of graphics and new colour options. Other aspects of the bike might remain unchanged and that will be justified considering it’s already quite enticing for a 125cc offering. There are two riding modes (Eco and Power), an automatic start-stop system, and a full-LED headlamp and tail lamp. And it's powered by a peppy 124.8cc mill that produces 11.2bhp and 11.2Nm.
Besides hosting the launch event on TVS Motoverse, the company will also host a couple of other virtual activities like the creation of new avatars, product experience and tech review, gaming zones, and a music concert.
