TVS Motor Company has sent an invite to BikeWale which talks about the launch of its new offerings. While the company is discrete about these new products, we believe it’s the new Apache 200 and the new Victor motorcycle.
We’ve already talked about the new Apache 200 here and you can read about six things to expect from it. In this article, we’re going to talk about the famous Victor brand, which once upon a time was a good seller. However, the company pulled the plug off this brand as it didn’t work well in the market, macroeconomically. But the Hosur-based company will get the brand back to compete in the mass market segment.
A couple of months ago, a camouflaged Victor prototype was spied testing, revealing some information. While the company is tight-lipped about the displacement of this new bike, we’re expecting it to be a 125cc as the Star City Plus and Sport is already doing the duty in the 110cc segment. Currently, only the Phoenix 125 sits in the 125cc segment. Interestingly, the spied bike carried overall design cues of the Phoenix. It gets a single piece seat, clear lens indicators and a blacked-out theme for the engine, silencer, suspension and the five-spoke alloy wheels. While the front wheel of the test mule sported a drum brake, we can expect TVS to offer a disc setup in the top-end variant.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more information on these new TVS bikes.
