TVS is on a roll. It launched the Apache RR310 late last year and just a day ago, it introduced their first 125cc scooter, the Ntorq125. And now, the company is gearing up to unveil three new concept two-wheelers at the 2018 Auto Expo.
This news was confirmed to BikeWale by one of the top officials of the company. While the official didn’t reveal the exact nature of these bikes, it’s believed that the future models will be based on these concepts. TVS is known to use this strategy at every Auto Expo. In the 2014 exhibition, it revealed the Draken concept that went on to become the Apache RTR 200 4V. In the previous expo, the showstopper was the Akula concept which was launched recently as the Apache RR 310.
Out of the three concepts, TVS will definitely showcase one scooter concept, maybe a 150cc one. One of the other two concepts might be based on the BMW G310R platform. But it’s not likely to be an adventure bike, as the Hosur-based manufacturer remains unconvinced for now about the merits of developing an ADV.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we bring you more details from the TVS pavilion.
