-Priced at Rs 58,252 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
-Costs around Rs 1,600 lesser than disc variant
-Gets drum brake at the front
The TVS Ntorq 125 is now available in a drum brake variant and is priced at Rs 58,252 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is Rs 1,648 lesser than the disc version.
This variant of the Ntorq 125 uses 130mm drums on both ends. It also gets SBS, TVS’s iteration of the combined braking system. And besides the change in braking hardware, the Ntorq 125 drum variant remains the same as the disc version. So, it is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder motor that is mated to a CVT gearbox. The engine produces 9.4bhp of power and 10.5Nm of torque.
By offering a drum variant, TVS has made the Ntorq 125 slightly more accessible. The scooter offers a multi-function digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and external fuel-filler cap; a few features that its competitors miss out on. Speaking of which, the Ntorq 125 competes against the Aprilia SR125, Honda Grazia and Suzuki Access 125 in the country.
